history: grew up on a farm with two wonderful parents, two sisters
and a brother; married since 1989 to Greg (who is incredibly loyal to
family, James Taylor's music and the Calgary Stampeders), am a mom of
two amazing children, and a friend to many people who make my world a
better place
• Personal legacy (as written in Create
a Ripple, 2005): "Personally, I have a goal to live my life
with as few regrets as possible. I want to come to the end of my life,
whenever that might be, with a sense of satisfaction and completeness.
I want to be able to say that if I could live my life over again, I wouldn't
change a thing. I would be content to know that I was the person I was
meant to be, that I lived each day fully, that I was the kind of parent
my own kids would want to become, and that I made a difference in the
lives of those I touched."
